Modern Interpretation of the Classic Gymnasterka by OLOVO
This design pays homage to the legendary Soviet army gymnasterka — the iconic field shirt that shaped the look of the Red Army soldier for decades. Originally worn by both enlisted men and officers, it remained part of the Soviet Armed Forces uniform until 1969.
OLOVO reimagines the classic silhouette with a comfortable fit and a clean stand collar. The shirt is crafted from 100% garment-washed cotton chambray, giving the fabric a soft touch, a refined marbled texture, and a slightly vintage, “lived-in” look.
Details include side pockets, mother-of-pearl accented buttons, and OLOVO’s signature “Soldatik” embroidery in a contrasting rust-tobacco shade on the chest.
